Providing care dogs and cats.
Preventive Health Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm, flea and parasite control; individual vaccination plans; spay and neuter procedures; and specialized blood tests for all life stages. Breed specific medicine. Age related counseling.
Surgery We take necessary safety precautions with our surgeries; such a required pre-anesthetic blood work, close monitoring before, during, and recovery of surgery. Companion animal surgeries are performed in house. Procedures include routine ovariohysterectomies, orchiectomies, declaws, mass removals, laceration repairs, orthopedic procedures, cruciate ligament stabilization, reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries.
Dentistry Dental health is one of the most important and over looked areas of your pets well being. A healthy mouth will prevent other health problems including renal, liver and cardiac infections in your pet. We offer dental prophylaxis for your dog and cat year round. Dental prophylaxis will improve the quality and extend the life of your pet.
Ophthalmology Preserving our pets vision in a pain free manner is of utmost importance. Our state of the art tonovet machine can be used to measure pressures within the eye which allows diagnosis of eye conditions such as glaucoma. The tonovet machine also aids in helping manage many chronic ophthalmic conditions. We perform many ophthalmic surgeries such as "cherry eye" surgery, entropion correction, eye lid masses, and enucleation (eye removal).
Radiology Companion animal radiology is offered at our clinic. We have in house digital radiography and portable radiology equipment to serve our client's diagnostic needs. Often radiology leads to the diagnosis. "If you don't look, you won't find".
Ultrasound Ultrasound is also offered as part of our diagnostic services. We have an in-hospital ultrasound unit as well as a portable machine. Often an ultrasound exam can help diagnose early pregnancies and even help with obtaining a fetus count. Ultrasound is a non-invasive look into your animal. It has become an invaluable tool to performing better veterinary medicine.
In House Laboratory Testing We are able to perform diagnostic blood testing in house for quicker diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of your pet. This allows us to know what we are treating as quickly as possible. Early intervention is often the key to a quick response to treatment.
